Today, Kennedy Grist is already 16 years old. The cute and smiling teenage girl studies well, goes in for sports, she has true friends and a boyfriend.
Looking at Kennedy, few would guess that she has a two-year-old daughter.
The girl became pregnant at the age of 13, which turned out to be a serious shock for both Grist herself and her family.
When the news spread among the girl’s classmates, most of them turned away from her. However, thanks to a few true friends and the support of the family, the young mother managed to overcome all the trials.
Kennedy’s 50-year-old mother, Wendy, raised her five children alone. And the news came as a complete surprise to her. The woman did not even think that her youngest daughter would become pregnant at such a young age.
However, she decided to support her daughter in everything. So did the older brothers and sisters of the girl.
But the majority of classmates and friends decided otherwise. A real persecution was launched against Grist. To endure this was unbearable, so the pregnant girl was hastily transferred to another school.
Kennedy recalls that under pressure from the public, she seriously considered giving up her child for adoption. However, two years later, Kennedy is happy with her daughter and cannot imagine her life without the baby.
The 16-year-old girl is studying hard, planning to get a higher education later, and in her free time she also manages to earn extra money. Nevertheless, Grist claims that in the first place, she is still a mother.
The young mother is infinitely grateful to her parent, brothers, and sisters. Kennedy can’t imagine how she would have survived the terrible persecution without their support.
