Three puppies sat in the dark and shivered from the cold.
There was a lot of snow on the streets that winter day. It was cold and unsafe to walk. But if people and pets still had the opportunity to hide from the weather in apartments, then a stray dog, along with puppies, ended up right in the cold, among deep snow…
One man, although in a hurry to go home, could not pass by a fallen pipe, from which a squeak was heard. He called the volunteers, and they came to help.
And it was very timely! There was a dog inside the pipe. She looked out and immediately hid.
But the next minute she went out to the people. She wagged her tail, circled around the volunteers, rejoicing at their arrival.
The dog’s gray eyes were fixed on one volunteer. Then she bowed her head to be stroked.
Of course, the volunteers were glad that they had saved a homeless animal. However, once again they decided to look inside the pipe.
Maybe there is someone else there?
Their intuition did not fail them. Three puppies sat in the dark and shivered from the cold. They were extremely scared.
Volunteers tried to lure the pups out of the pipe with the help of their mother, but they refused to come out.
Then they took the dog to the car, and they began to lure the puppies with food.
But that didn’t work either.
Volunteers had to stand at each end of the pipe. One of them gently slipped a brush inside.
And immediately one puppy jumped out. Then the second and third.
The pups were also taken to the car to their mother. But they didn’t leave right away.
Just in case, they looked around the area to be sure: there are no more puppies here.
Then the dog family arrived at the shelter.
Of course, the conditions for keeping animals here leave much to be desired. However, it is also good that the dogs are not on a frosty street and are not hungry.
When the pups grow up a little, they will look for their owners. And the mother dog too.
She also needs a good family who will take care of her and won’t let her live in the cold anymore.
