Once, a box with a rabbit and a teddy bear was found on the side of the road.

Bunny was so frightened that he clung to a toy that resembles him in color.

RSPCA representatives arrived at Turnham Road in Lewisham, southeast London, after receiving reports of an abandoned animal.

Fortunately, Nigel is healthy and free of injuries. The teddy bear is also all right.

Nigel is in care in Kent. His affection for the toy shows that they have been together for a long time.

“Our inspectors are working hard to find out what happened to the abandoned animals. We interview witnesses, review CCTV footage and regularly publish appeals to the media. According to the 2006 Animal Welfare Act, abandoning a pet is a crime because it causes distress,” said Emily Stott from RSPCA.

In one year, the Royal Society saved over 102,900 animals!
