Brad Pitt has long earned the reputation as one of the kindest and sweetest people in Hollywood.
And the other day, journalists once again found evidence that the actor really has a wide soul.
So, recently the star of “Elvira” Cassandra Peterson – it was from her that he bought a plot of 1.9 acres in Los Feliz in 1994 – told reporters that the actor allowed an elderly neighbor to live in his house for free.
Recall that the original plot that Brad acquired was quite small.
However, since 1994, Pitt has been constantly buying small adjoining houses and building on his imposing residence.
According to Cassandra, the actor bought about 22 houses adjacent to the edge of the site. One of the mansions that Brad drew attention to belonged to an old man who was already over 90 years old.
Apparently, he was able to conclude a deal with the man, according to which he continued to live in his house even after it ceased to belong to him.
At the same time, the old man did not pay rent and lived until his end at the age of 105.
Most likely, Pitt was simply afraid that the house would pass to grandchildren or relatives, with whom it could be much more difficult to negotiate. Internet users never cease to be amazed at how kind Brad’s heart can be.
By the way, not so long ago, the actor still managed to sell real estate. Recall that the house was put up for sale for $39 million.
Interestingly, Brad initially paid the Elvira star only $1.7 million. At the same time, it is not specified how much Pitt spent to expand the site.
