Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank have shared the news of the birth of their second child.
As it turned out, the niece of King Charles III again became a mother a week ago, but decided to announce it only today.
She released an official statement about the birth of her son and immediately showed the newborn to the whole world.
The young mother said that she named her son in honor of his great-great-great-grandfather, Ronald Ferguson.
The full name of the newborn is Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank.
The baby was born on May 30 at 8:49 am. He took thirteenth place in the list of contenders for the British crown, displacing Prince Edward and Princess Anne and their descendants lower in the line of succession.
However, they already had almost no chance of one day taking the throne.
The firstborn of the spouses, August, who was born in 2021, has already met his younger brother. As the princess assures, he reacted well to the appearance of a baby in the house.
“Augie already enjoys being a big brother,” shared Eugenie.
Eugenie announced her pregnancy in January of this year, shortly after the media got photos in which she had a rounded belly.
Despite a respectable period, Eugenie was present at the coronation of Charles in early May. Around the same time, her mother Sarah Ferguson said that a joyful event should happen any day.
