Online users have also been avidly discussing the Gwyneth Paltrow vs Terry Sanderson lawsuit over the past week.

Recall that the 76-year-old ophthalmologist, who has already retired, accused the actress of crashing into him at high speed on a ski run, after which she “left him all alone in the snow.”

At first, Terry demanded an impressive compensation of $3.1 million from Gwyneth. The actress pleaded not guilty, filing a counterclaim.

However, this did not stop the ophthalmologist. He again went to court, reducing the amount of compensation required to a much more acceptable 300 thousand dollars.

The trial began on March 21 – sessions were held every day. And Gwyneth personally attended each of them.

Last Thursday, the jury, after 2 hours of hearing and 20 minutes of deliberation, decided to reach a final verdict, removing all charges from Paltrow.

After the judge read out the verdict, Gwyneth approached Terry and said, “I wish you all the best.” To which he thanked the actress.

By the way, Paltrow explained why she decided to attend the court on her own, although she could easily have simply paid the amount required from her.

“I felt that if I agreed to this, I would confirm the false allegations against me. It compromised my integrity. I am pleased with the result and appreciate all the hard work of the judge and jury. I am grateful to them for their attentive attitude to this matter,” Gwyneth emphasized.
