This story happened in 2011.
The fire team received an urgent call – a woman complained of pain in her stomach and asked for help. Among those who came to the call was 47-year-old Mark Hadden.
Firefighters arrived to find a woman in labor. They only managed to put her on a stretcher, but they clearly did not have time to take her to the hospital, they had to take delivery on the spot.
The firefighters had only time to cut the woman’s clothes, when a girl was born. Mark was the first to pick her up and jokingly greet the baby: “Well, hello, Rebecca Grace Hadden!”
Later, while the lady was being taken to the hospital, Mark talked to the woman and found out that she lives on the street and the child was not included in her plans. She was going to leave the girl in the hospital and give her up for adoption.
By that time, Hadden already had two sons and he and his wife dreamed of a daughter, but Beth could no longer have children.
They consulted at the family council and decided to accept the sign of fate. So little Gracie found her new home and family in two days.
Now the girl is already 8 years old, her older brothers simply adore her. Parents do not hide the story of her appearance from their daughter, but the girl does not understand all the subtleties yet.
Mark is going to later explain to his daughter how she ended up in their family and hopes that she will deal with this information.
In any case, Gracie is now part of the family and her family will always be with her.
