Brittany Geiler, 18, from Texas, posted a photo on her Twitter page of her father taking her to school on her last day of school.
Alongside, she posted a picture of her dad escorting her to the school doorstep on her first day of school.

Heading off to school on her last day before graduation, 18-year-old Brittany Geiler from Texas remembered how her dad walked her 5-year-old for the first time to school thirteen years earlier – and found an old photo from the scene.
And this is what happened 13 years later.
Brittany’s father, Jason, was so touched by the old photograph that he and his daughter decided to recreate it 13 years later.
“It was a very emotional moment,” he says.
“I am so grateful to my parents for always being there and supporting me!” — says touched Brittany.
A new photo of Brittany and her father has taken the internet by surprise.
The photo received more than 45 thousand likes. Users especially liked Jason.
“He hasn’t changed at all in 13 years!” one exclaims. “Looks like he just got younger!” says another.
Brittany has already announced that she is leaving home in a couple of months for college.
It remains to be seen if she and her father will reprise their plot there, and if Jason will travel with her to take her to campus for the first time.
