The dog, whose name is Chipper, travels around Arizona with his owner Katie Pollak.
Together they collect plastic and other waste that pollutes the environment.
Chipper has been living in Katie’s family since 2011.
Then Katie took him from the shelter and immediately noticed an interest in used plastic bottles.
Katie remembered when he’d found them, he would be picking them in his teeth and bringing them to her right away.
Each time, she praised Chipper for such actions, which caused him even more interest.
At the same time, the four-legged one himself stimulated his owner to save the planet.
With a pet, they walk a lot, go to the mountains and the forest, go paddleboarding.
During all these entertainments, they try to be useful to the planet.
On social media, Katie talks about their adventures and achievements, and Chipper is a real star there.
“He became an inspiration to many. We often participate in cleanups, and people immediately recognize him. “Chipper has come!” – is heard around. Everyone wants to say hello to him and watch him work,” Katie remembered.
The dog constantly brings something in his teeth, cleaning everything around him.
It can be empty beer cans, plastic bottles, leftover clothes or shoes.
Therefore, Katie always has garbage bags in which she collects all the “finds”.
“He keeps reminding me to get better and do my best to help the planet. He makes this job easier,” Katie added.
