Amee Nepomuceno dreamed of becoming a nurse; the girl was ready for the fact that she would have to study a lot and very hard.
But she wasn’t prepared for the surprises her senior year brought.
The most difficult thing was due to the pandemic: studies partially switched to a remote format, teachers were tense, knowledge was learned with difficulty, loneliness and uncertainty were crushing.
Amee couldn’t know what awaited her after graduation – maybe a job as a nurse in a covid hospital?
And it was also unclear whether graduation would take place in conditions of the strictest isolation.
Fortunately, she had a reliable friendly shoulder.
And every time when stress covered her head, the student only had to look at her friend – and fears and excitement receded.
Charming Corgi Spex was always ready to offer his beloved owner moral support and a fluffy paw of help.
You could go for a walk with him so that disturbing thoughts disappeared, you could hug and squeeze him as much as you like. And one look at his charming face was enough to put a smile on Ami’s face.
If not for Spex, the girl would never have been able to overcome the graduation year.
The dog deserved gratitude, and the girl found a way to thank her friend.
When it was time for the graduation photo shoot, Ami invited the Corgi to join her.
Of course, a proper suit was required – and for Spex, a charming academic cap was found to match the one that his mom wore.
And instead of the graduate’s gown, he was decorated with a neckerchief with the name of the university and the year – 2021.
The graduation photo shoot was supposed to mark the milestone that the young girl overcame, her major achievement.
But, given the serious contribution that Corgi made to the success of his owner, his participation was completely fair.
“I love every shot,” Amee said.
