Marshall the Golden Retriever was adopted as a puppy.
The family expected him to be a sweet, obedient and intelligent dog, but in fact the puppy liked to tear up soft toys and pillows, throwing stuffing all over the house.
He gnawed flowers, and scattered food on the floor in the living room.
He dived into the pool, and then immediately jumped to cuddle in bed.
When Marshall was one year old, he never stopped loving puddles.
After a walk, he returned completely smeared with mud. Even if the weather was dry, the retriever could find a body of water.
After Macy was born, the dog took the baby into his care.
The girl grew up under the watchful eye of a dog. When Macy was learning to sit and playing in the playpen, Marshall was there.
When she took her first steps, he accompanied the child. In addition, they played and slept together.
“Macy calmed our boy Marshall down. Nothing makes the heart flutter like their games together,” Macy’s mom said.
The dog allows the girl to do everything: ride him, put her fingers in his mouth to touch his teeth, drag his cheeks and nose, grab his ears. Marshall just licks Macy.
“When Marshall has had enough, he just gives me that look… But we’ve never seen a malicious look from him. He just goes to our bedroom if he wants to be alone. But now she can climb on the bed, so Marshall will have to try to hide better,” said the girl’s mother.
