Café customers, having learned that the waitress spends several hours on the way to work and back home every day, gave her a car.
In return, they asked her to help those in need.
Café guests in Galveston, Texas donated a car to a waitress when they found out it took her five hours to get to and from work.
Adrianna Edwards works as a waitress and dreams of buying a car. The girl saves money for this purpose. However, she had to walk to work. Every day she walked 14 miles.
Once she served a married couple who accidentally found out how the waitress gets to the café in the morning and home in the evening.
The couple, having had breakfast, left, and an hour later appeared with a chic gift. The man and the woman gave the girl a 2011 Nissan Sentra, which they bought at a nearby car dealership.
According to Edwards, she initially thought it was a prank. However, the car was really bought just for her. Now the girl drives a donated car, and it takes her half an hour to get to work.
The couple asked the girl for one favor – to do a good deed for someone. The waitress promised them this.
“Hopefully one day I’ll be financially stable enough to be able to help someone too,” Edwards said.
