A few years ago, Cameron Diaz was a sought-after actress that many directors dreamed of getting.
However, in 2015, she decided to give up her career and build family happiness with Benji Madden. Naturally, this largely influenced the habits of a celebrity.
In the new podcast, she revealed how much her attitude towards herself has changed since then.
“I see myself as a victim of every form of societal objectification and exploitation that women experience. I bought all of this at the time. It’s hard to look at yourself and not compare yourself to women who represent the standards of beauty. It’s only in the last eight years that I’ve stopped doing it,” Cameron explained.
Diaz added that she began to pay much less attention to any beauty routine. And she really likes it.
“I don’t care. To be honest, appearance is the last thing I think about every day. Or I don’t think at all,” admitted the actress.
She stressed that she does absolutely nothing to maintain her beauty.
“I love that I just stopped washing my face,” Cameron said.
According to Diaz, numerous beauty products gather dust on her bathroom shelf, which she simply does not use. According to the star, now she pays attention to completely different things.
