Nine-year-old Dylan James from England, who has been diagnosed with autism and is deaf, was left all alone on his birthday due to lockdown.
People from all over the world supported the boy and congratulated him on his birthday.
According to his mother Natasha James, Dylan could not understand why he was not allowed to go out. The boy did not attend school for more than a year due to his treatment and lockdown.
Therefore, the woman decided to ask Facebook users to congratulate her son.
Social media users quickly responded to Dylan’s mom’s request. Soon the boy received over 700 birthday cards from all over the world.
The happy boy spent most of the day reading congratulations.
“The reaction from strangers has been amazing. We will be eternally grateful to people for the kindness they have shown to my little boy,” said Natasha James.
Postcards and gifts came from countries as far away as Australia and the USA. Dylan’s mother noted that in this way, it would be easier for her son to endure being constantly at home and not going outside.
After all, he is very upset due to the fact that he is forced to stay at home.
