This debut took place at the African American Film Critics Association’s Special Achievement Honorees luncheon in Los Angeles on March 3.

While attending the event, Good and Majors shared an update on their relationship. Majors mentioned to Extra at the Los Angeles Athletic Club, “In love… We’re doing good, thanks for asking.” Good chimed in, saying, “We’re doing great. God’s good.”

The couple made their appearance at the luncheon just a month prior to Majors’ scheduled sentencing in his assault case. In December, he was convicted of one count of misdemeanor third-degree assault and one count of second-degree harassment related to an incident involving his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, as reported by Good Morning America.

Additionally, he was acquitted of another count of assault and another count of aggravated harassment, despite having pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Throughout the trial, Majors was frequently seen entering the courthouse with Good by his side. In his initial interview after the verdict, the Devotion alum opened up about the support he received from the Harlem star.

“I’m truly blessed,” he expressed to GMA in January. “I’m surrounded by people who love me, who care about me. However, this has been an incredibly challenging, difficult, and confusing experience in many ways. But I’m standing.”
